2520 John Deere
Hello:
Attempting to stay within a safe range on my trailer. And I need to know the weight of my 4520 with filled tires, frontier 6 foot box and 400cx loader.
I believe my tractor is over 2 tons by itself. Search has revealed no information I feel confident with.

Thank you

Terry~!

Filled tires can vary depending upon what is in them but 400- 500 per is close. The tractor spec from Deere used to be 3900 but that was back in 2007 may have changed some. The box blade is dependent upon manufacturer and Frontier used to have different robustness boxes so could have the light box or the HD box. Loader was about 1200 if my memory has not failed but that could be off a bit as Deere never published a weight for it that I know of also depending upon standard bucket, heavy duty or large capacity. Make your best estimate and run it over the scales. What size trailer capacity you have to start with.

Not enough information to be exact but it is too much for a 7,000 lb trailer. Will work with a 10,000 lb trailer no problem. I use a 12,000 lb 20 ft Bigtex for mine and it has worked out great.

Box is heavy duty and bucket is also hd. Tractor is 2012. I can't recall what the tires were filled with. Seems like methane? Unfortunately my trailer is a 7000 with a single braking axle.
I don't haul anything very far, only worried about the safety. Much bigger trailer will have to include a bigger truck.

Thanks so much for the replies

Terry, I have a 3720 without a cab. I have a 59" snowblower and 600lbs in my ballast box. My tractor weighs roughly 5800lbs. and I don't have my tires filled. Your tractor has to weigh in at around 6500-7000lbs. Your single axle trailer will NOT be enough. You are going to need a bigger trailer.
