John deere 47in, snow blower repair

I have bought a 2305 tractor that came with a 47 in quick hitch front snow blower

Snowblower had a small oil leak so i tear it down to try to fix it.

Oil plug was stripped in by previous owner and a crack seems to be on the gear drive cover.

Tear it down, found the cover was in 2 pieces, si im now searching that part, which seems unfindable.

1st picture is my snowblower serial if it can help

2nd is the part diagram, and im looking for Item 27-29 (cover with plug)

Can't help w the part but it looks like a machinist could make one from the old part. Outside shape needn't be lobed - could be round, so not too hard to make.
