I have a leaking plunger seal on my John Deere 5103 SCV mid valve. John Deere says seal is obsolete. Can anyone advise me on where i might could find a replacement seal?

Did that answer come from a reputable John Deere dealer? I have always found one of the selling points of owning a JD was parts availability, I would at least try another dealer or Green Tractor Parts to see. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
