You made a really really great deal there. Way better than my deal I should have you call my salesman. Good luck with a great machine.

Have you ever thought of looking at a 6M, the base price with cab before your discount would be just $13k more and it is so much more tractor. The 6115 M is heavier has a much better transmission in the powerquad . It has a full frame which is good for loader work and carrying the rear mower around, and it has hitch dampening to decrease shock loads from heavy implements. Has a much better cab, seat front axle rear axle, hydraulic flow can be closed center and 29gpm. You might consider talking to the dealer and pricing a 6M.

JDBNH What features and at what price? I looked and NH does not have synchronised ranges in a similar sized rig, come across with the goods man, I have a many green tractors and an orange one too, I'd love to add a blue one, so please elucidate.

I don't think Thowle ever closed the deal, in fact I don't think he has closed the deal on any of the "blow out" prices that he brags about.

Thanks for the information on the 6M. I have looked at them and yes it is a larger frame. I test drove one and did not like how it turned compared to the 5M. I was not able to drive them on the same day but the 5M felt like it turned much tighter. I plan on using this machine to clear out a water way, mowing, snow blowing, general landscaping. The water way work I have will be to just clean up the bottom and smooth the sides using the loader and a rear mount blade so it will be smoother mowing and so the kids can ride dirt bikes and other things there when not wet. Anyone with experience with a 5M and using it for digging dirt, moving dirt think there will be any problems with this size machine?
Another thing I like about the smaller machine is that it will be nicer for using around the farm for general loader work, As long as it can handle the dirt moving it should be perfect.

Also its good to hear about pricing mentioned in this post. It did not make sense to me.

Thanks again for the information

Fair enough. Couple of questions

Is that a tractor you have in stock if so what is the invoice date and is it Tier 4 A compliant. I called my NH dealer and he says he will try to match that. If he does i will try a NH. I told him he didn't have to match it just get it to $75k because it does spec better than the Deere. I will tell you he asked me if you were a mid west dealer because he has been seeing huge discounts coming from the mid west. Anyway I hope for my sake he can get close enough for me.

Also to be fair he does say that the 5.115 EC is targeted toward the 6115M not the 5M folks. How NH keeps the price so low Is beyond me. But I will say that tractor house has plenty of them south of $55k at 2 years old kinda scary that.

Well I'm closing my deal next month when the tractor arrives. Could have done it sooner, now I have to worry about the next deal, maybe I can have a NH.

i checked tractor house. the used T5.115 on there are all the basic 12x12 powers shuttle not the Electro Command....this has more features and has only been out about 8 months. The other T5.115 the basic one has been out a little longer so thats why you are seeing them on there used...Yes that is a tractor that is in stock on the yard...and it is Tier 4a complaint...Im in Texas and we do tend to have some different finance, and disocunt options but not always......We have sold many of them and have had no issues, customers love them...Personally even if i didnt sale NH,I really like the tractor, drives, rides good, good features, pretty heavy, etc...anyway, if you have any questions, ill be happy to help ya

My 5083e with a 553 will move dirt like you would not believe. Just last night I was filling red clay into a giant pit. My 5083 just rolls the clay, even without rear weight it'll go in and on and on. With that setup you'll have no trouble moving the dirt at all

Thought I would follow up on this now that I have been using the 5115m for about 55 hours. You were correct it will move dirt like crazy. Been playing in the water way tonight and even when it's a bit wet there is no problem moving dirt and leveling. Been removing high spots and filling in low spots. At first I was a bit scared I would get stuck but after a few hours in the wet I have no worries. Glad I got the Michelin agrib tires they are fantastic in the mud.

Thanks for your reply a while ago. It was helpful and accurate.
