I'm also discouraged by talk of the fuel lines going bad on late models. Is this related to other brands as well? Is this truly due to new formulations in fuel or rather related to the products the lines were manufactured from? Has anyone replaced the soft lines with hard lines? Does this help?
I'm concerned now as we have all moved on to late model tractors. The old Farmall had to have the lines replaced (there were two, one from tank to filter, one from filter gravity fed single Zenith one barrel carb) but the old Massey had hard lines that were of indeterminate age.
I know the fuel lines on the three year old 6430 are leaking and are being replaced this weekend. Guess I'll check on the year old Case to see how those lines look.
