Hey all Newbie to the site, I'm hoping to find some info on the John Deere powerqaud 24 speed as used in the 6420, I have been helping a friend with this unit but now at a stand still, The trans/hydraulic oil is foaming/airating excessively causing the loader and steering to be very jerky and chatter. The main pistion pump has a charge/lift pump that supplies oil to the piston pump, we are at the point where I'm starting to suspect the suction tube suppling the charge pump may have cracked and is causing the charge pump to be the source of the foaming/airation in the oil. Has anyone had any similaiar issues with these transmissions?
