My 655 PTO magnet gradually stopped holding until it would no longer engage. I have seen 855 owners with the same issue. It appears to be the time delay control module (TDM) based on the testing I have done.
Does this part commonly fail? I checked all connections and applied a jumper as an alternative. THe jumper made the magnet engage.
The voltage out of the module would fluctuate from 3-13v. Once load was applied, the voltage went to 0.
The best price I can find on the part is ~$100. Do alternatives exist to the OEM part or is there a more reasonable source for this part? Part# am102118.
