John Deere 670 W/60 Loader

I hate to be a mooch for information but I just bought a John Deere 670 with 60 loader on it and three of the loader pins will not accept grease at the fitting (I believe it sat for some time). I have to pound out the pins to clear everything out but they are really bound up in there something fierce. Before I apply heat to the pins, does anyone know if there are any o-rings or anything else in there that the heat would destroy? Is there any other trick I am missing to free up the pins or is brute force the only avenue?

Dumb question, can't you replace the grease fittings? Are these the loader-tractor mounting pins or the bucket-loader mounting pins?

Take a look at the exploded diagram on the Deere parts website to see what else might be in there for hardware.

The 70 does not have o-rings, so I would expect that the 60 does not either.

Went through this recently with a 7 backhoe. I had to remove the grease zerks, carefully clean the hardened grease out of them with a small drill bit by hand. Then beat the pins out of their bores with a brass drift and clean all the hardened grease from the pins and the bores with a scotchbrite pad. I also had to clean the hardened grease plug out of the grease channel between the bottom of the zerk and the bore. Then reassmeble and grease away. I couldn't get several of the zerks to take grease and had to replace them. I also discovered that one of the pins was badly worn due to the PO's lack of greasing. That pin had to be replaced.
