That is a very nice attachment. I expect it would be great for popping small stumps and for planting and even for punching odd shaped holes in your siding.

hopefully for removing small stumps and bushes or any other digging that the fel bucket would be too wide to use. bud

I like the yellow color better than the black.

I have a 7' Western plow in similar fashion, and it attaches to the MMM front mounting plates.

Hey Bud,
Where in MD are you?
I could help you wear some of that new paint off...

Looks like you have a great setup, now go get it dirty and take some action shots.

Bud,

Nice set-up, I have a 4310 and I had a chance to buy that same blade used but like brand new, the guy mounted it once and decided it was to much work to switch to FEL, I was thinking about cutting and welding the rear mounts to the fel mount posts to speed up the change over to the loader, I think the front mount could stay in place with the loader on. The only problem is the rear mounts hang down, greatly reducing ground clearance, also you couldn't do my plan and use your MMM at the same time, you would still have to remove the loader mounts.
The pictures don't do it justice, looks kinda dainty, but I've seen one close up and I know that thing is built like a dozer blade. It does have down pressure, right? Will it lift the front wheels off the ground?
I didn't buy it cause I didn't think it would be a huge advantage over just the loader in the snow, is it? I do think it would be the ultimate tool for working in the woods, drive way or road work, or any type of grading and leveling and would have bought it in a second if I had an imediate need for it.
Good luck! John,
P.S. I like the mirror and will do the same. And that grubbin bucket looks like you could dig a nice drainage or utility trench since it's narrower than the wheels, though how would you dump the spoil? Guess you could back up till you cleared the trench.

hi john, that could be a neat plan if not for the mmm which is my main use for the tractor. you are right it is built tuff (weighs about 500 lbs) and has a lot of down pressure in fact with the grubbin bucket turned down will lift the front wheels 3 ft off the ground.it plows snow great in fact i never even had to put the tractor in four wheel drive this winter and it has never pushed the front end sideways with the blade angled even with a full blade of snow. it also has bolts you can install to keep the blade from dumping for grading use. the mirror is off an old ford van that i just painted semi gloss black and made a bracket to mount to the grab handle. havent used the grubbin bucket yet but it should have a lot of uses. ps i have a buddy that lives in simsbury ct. regards, bud
