John deere 770 Transmission cover gasket

Hi, I need to replace the transmission cover gasket (J.D. pn M803011) on my 1992 770. It doesn't seem that anyone stocks this item, online any way. I am going to call a local dealer here in R.I.. I was wondering if anyone has had problems finding this part, or had any other suggestions for replacing it.

-I just spoke with my local dealer, and they say Deere has run dry of this part. Any thoughts on material type and thickness so I can make a replacement?

Any reason not to use RTV gasket material instead?
