John Deere 850 Loss of Hydraulic Pressure

Been having issues with losing hydraulic pressure after changing screw on type in line hydraulic filter. Did some trouble shooting and I have found the check valve that should open once the filter is screwed in place. What I am wondering is if the JD filter TY9425E is the right style filter or if I am missing a spacer that should be screwed on with the filter to help open the check valve?

There are a few different filter applications for the 850 there is a early filter for serial numbers up to 16000 and later filters are different even a different number if they have a dealer installed power steering. The filter number you have is for an early 850.

The tractor is a 950 not a 850. Would the 16000 and under still apply for this tractor for this filter number and we're would I look for the serial number.

On a 950 the serial number cutoff is 20000 it appears to be the same the serial number is above the rear pto.
