1992 John Deere 755 4WD
Hello All - been coming to this forum for some time to find answers but this has me stumped. I own a 1992 755 with model 70 loader. I recently found a great deal on a 1994 855 4x4 with no loader. According to the serial numbers, the 70 loader should fit on the tractor, but it is too short to reach the front mounting brackets. All brackets bolted right up. What am i missing, do you indeed need a 70a? I have searched and see some folks who say they have a 70 on their 855/955.

The 70 loader also fits a JD770.

The JD855 & JD955 does take a 70A loader.

Can a 70 be made into a 70A ? Is it a few bracket differences to be had?

It also fits the 790, like I have.

Can you post a picture of how it’s not fitting?

Edit:
Isn’t there some adjustability in the length of the legs that go from the back to front mounts? I’m not at my tractor but it seems the brackets are adjustable.
