man it's hard to choose... so many aspects. One being the kubota dealer is a good customer of mine.(I've worked on his HVAC for years) From what i can tell, he isnt giving me a really good deal, not bad, but not good either. I understand he needs to make a profit..cuz I want him around after the sale. But Barlows quoted me a better price, and that included shipment to texas...still, I will need servicing in the future and want my dealer/customer happy to service my tractor, and in turn keep his business as well.
I really appreciate the input. Not being able to work the tractors, but only drive'em in the parking lot, doesnt give me real world knowledge of the day to day stuff. ..and then there's the Deere, like the quick attach, size seems bigger, position control.....here i go again:confused2:.

Thanks!

I have the 2920 with that hoe, and would agree with the sentiment of the seat arrangement being awkward. It make moving the tractor forward to continue digging a multi step process. That doesn't affect me, since I don't use the BH that much.still, it's a well built unit and does everything I need. I'm quite happy with the 2920 as well, but I do wish I had looked at the 2630 a little closer.

One of the little things to also look at is the location of the grease fittings for the backhoe bucket pins! Yes it does cost more to make them like the Kubota or like on commercial machines but it sure does beat finding them broken off and not able to grease the machine properly.

I believe I read somehwere on here that the 2520 can also take the 47 hoe....? If that's true, I'd get the bigger hoe, the green paint and be happy!

I ordered the JD2520 and backhoe today! Got a pretty good deal too! Now the wait....argghh. I've been going back and forth for 2-3 months trying to decide. I looked at a kubota b2620 again yesterday, and it seemed smaller than I remembered...and just couldnt get past the hst pedals and brake pedals being on the same side as it didnt make sense. Also didnt like the 1/4 inching valve. Loved the way the backhoe hooked up to the kubota and it having 3 speeds.I guess the price helped put me over the edge for the deere.
