Question on installing the John Deere Digging teeth on a Global HD Bucket. The digging teeth kit BW15763 came with the plow bolts that are square like a carriage bolt and the bucket cutting edge has round holes that you bolt the digging teeth on. Since the plow bolts are tapered do you just crank the nut down and force the square plow bolt into the round hole. If anyone has installed this setup could you please let me know what you did.

I think they gave you the wrong stuff. Both the bolts and c/e are hard and I don't think will "squish" in to where they are close to flush with the bottom side of the c/e. Take another look at your holes in the c/e, are you sure there's not a round recess on the bottom with an inner square to make the bolt heads recess near flush? Might need to talk with the dealer.

Correct.... the bucket cutting edge has round holes, however from the bottom side of the bucket it should be cut for plow bolts as the cutting edge also uses plow bolts to mount. Don't forget, the bolts come up from the bottom not from the top. If yours is different, let us know what loader you are working on. Good luck

I re-read op's post, it sounds like maybe is attempting to have both the cutting edge AND digging teeth mounted. Not sure but that could be part of the problem, I would ask the dealer if they are supposed to be compatible with each other. There is another tooth option w52238 that could possibly be the fix.

I have a H260 loader with the 73" Global HD Bucket Model 8215 and the holes in the bucket cutting edge are round top and bottom. No extra replaceable cutting edge just the standard bucket welded cutting edge I'm bolting the digging teeth directly on. The BW15763 kit is the correct part number for a H260 loader with the global heavy duty bucket, but it comes with plow bolts that will not work. I spoke to the dealer and he just suggested replacing the plow bolts with standard bolts.

Standard 1/2" Grade 5 bolts do work, but the bolt head is not flush with the bottom of the bucket cutting edge. Probably not a issue but I cannot see any other way of bolting the digging teeth on.

I think I have seen tooth adapters (shanks) that fit above AND below the c/e. This might be what you need ????
Despite what the parts book say's, something sounds wrong. Depending on what your doing, regular bolt heads could get worn off in no time. I like to get such parts at a shop that specializies in ground engaging wear parts. (think heavy equipment dealer) They'll have shelves of options.
