We had a 5410 not holding RPM'S. You could open her wide open while parked and she would fall 500 RPM's with no load. We found the fuel supply line to have been run through the steel bracket with the hydrilic lines. The fuel line was smashed flat. After straightening this out and running the supply line on top with the return line the tractor runs great. The owner stated the tractor has never ran this good. He believes the fuel line came from the factory like this. All I could think of is the fuel line with age had started swelling and finally restricted the flow enough to really start staving the engine. Hope this helps someone out its sure a lot cheaper than a new injector pump which I was leaning towards until finding the smashed fuel line.
