- John Deere 820
Hello,
I have a 1972 John Deere 820. The diaphragm is leaking fuel into the oil. I went to the local John Deere dealer and ordered a rebuild kit... I looked at the picture on the parts computer and it looked like the pump I have .... has a glass bowl on top. Kit came in, but it does not have the seal cup or seal ring that goes over lip of the seal cup. The spring sits down on the seal ring. I went back to John Deere and was told those parts do not show up anywhere in their parts listing so they must be non-serviceable parts. The seal cup is rubber and torn and is deteriorating. Does anybody have any information on where I might obtain those two parts? The kit had several screens and several seal rings that are too large, so I am assuming it is a kit that fits multiple tractors.
Any help on this is much appreciated ..... Rick
