John Deere GT275 or JD 316

Hi all. I am about to purchase a garden tractor. I plan on mowing approximately 1-2 acres, various terrain, including some hills and high weeds. There are two tractors that look appropriate and look reasonably priced. I would greatly appreciate any advice and/or comments about both tractors.

John Deere 316 - Onan engine, 16 hp less than 600 hours. -- $1000.

John Deere GT275 - 1999 GT275, 48 inch mower deck Hydro Drive 17 Horse Engine -- $1,200. John Deere Garden Tractor

The 316 is a fine mower,but the model is pretty old. I think I would go for the 275.
