John Deere GX355 questions- New Owner

I just purchased a 500 hour GX355 with the Yanmar V twin motor. I am looking for a blade and blower for it and asked the JD dealer what I should look for. They indicated that the attachments for the X500 would be what they would sell to me new. Some of the X500 stuff looks to use a quick attach type front bracket and a belt driven device. Shouldn't I need the same attachments as the GX345? The GX345 use belly frame and belt blowers, and belly frame snowplows. The dealer wanted to sell me either a 44" or 47" two stage belt driven blower for a X500 and they would include the brackets needed to mount it on my tractor. Can I use both GX345 and X500 attachments? Are they very different? Is one better than another? Any help I might get from the forum would be greatly appreciated. I prefer a blower, but will probably want a blade as well. Bill

ps- This tractor seems to be so rare that I can hardly find any information about it, and the guys at the dealer have never even seen one! Internet searches for the GX355 are a waste of time.

Yes you would use the gx345 or 345 attachments. And yes you would use the x500 attachments. The blade is the same blade as a gt235 tractor as well they have different attaching brackets though. So you can buy the attachment with the wrong brackets and then order or find used brackets. The belt length may be different than a 345 tractor though. So it doesn't matter what blade you buy for the gt, gx or x 500 series you will need different brackets or maybe just a belt compared to the 345 or gx345.
