I am thinking of buying a kit to put a 3 point hitch on my John Deere M. I have a Woods 6 ft bush hog which weighs roughly 625 lbs, and a 6 ft disc harrow that I have loaded with logs. Do you think that the M will be able to lift either of these? I understand power may be an issue with the bush hog, but I can always creep along in 1st gear. The fields I am cutting are not very thick. I also am aware of the need to utilize an over running clutch. Please let me know what you think.

It will be very very very light on the front end and way way way under powered on both. It MAY lift them but it won't like it.
