I know the manual gives 700 psi as the hydraulic pressure, but it seems that it should be able to go much higher.

I am wondering what the weak link is. Is it the bolts, metal, links, lines, pump shaft/key, etc...

I would like to see it hit 2200 psi so I can run my splitter on it.

You have the HP to run about 10 GPM at 2500 psi, using about 17 HP.

Maybe they use most of the HP for the traction. 700 psi and 4.5 GPM is does not produce a lot of power.

Tractor Data says you have about 18 HP at the belt drive.

Could you perhaps run a hyd pump from the belt drive.

Ummm my bet is if you try to go that high a psi your gonna destroy the touchmatic. Id say to go that high you better get a PTO pump setup and save the original lift system.

I'll probably try to find a pto pump. I run my 11 gpm at 2200 psi on a little 3 hp motor. It runs a little faster than it did stock so it might be doing about 16 gpm.
I thought the M did 11 gpm. I could always bypass the touchomatic when using the splitter.
