I am looking for a head and manifold for a 1949 M John Deere. Any help will be appreciated.

Try going to www.ytmag.com and look in the John Deere section for parts .

Also try www.johnnypopper.com .

You could also try your local JD dealer .

I have a 1953 40-S . It is basically the same engine as your M . It makes a great sound !
