John Deere M655 parts Aftermarket?

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? I just picked up a 2000 model year M655 zero turn and I am in need of some parts. Is there another source other than john deere and if so how do I cross reference the part numbers? I do not mind paying a little more sometimes for the green and yellow. (I love both of my 7iron decks) But over $200 to put new dampers on the steer levers is a little much when i only paid $1,600.00 for the mower. I have found just about every other make online and they sell for about $50 a pair. Thanks for your time.

I ran into the same thing. I looked for options for about a week. I was about to give up when I found a site that mentioned that the M665 was based on a Toro model . I don,t remember the model(700 maybe). I bet a Toro dealer could help you. I think I gave $59 on E-Bay. What a great mower.

Looked at my mower. The Stens part # is 241-200
Stens 241-200 Shock Damper / Toro 109-2339
