John Deere S100 High Idle at Start

Hello All, I'm a DIY'er and still a little green. My tractor starts up but goes straight to high idle right away. Almost sounds like its going to blow up. Has anyone had this problem and have a solution? It looks like it still have my springs in the correct positions. Thanks in advance. -C

Welcome. If you set your park brake, start it while next to the carb - can you hold the throttle shaft and it slows down?
