Sickle Bar John Deere sickle mower

I found a JD #39 sickle mower for sale, but don't know if it's a 39N or 39W. Does anyone know if it matters for my tractor? Will either one of them fit? I have a Kubota L5240. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me. I'm supposed to go get it Sunday. He's asking $300 and said it's in mint condition....still has the original paint. I thought it sounded like a good deal.....

i'm not too sure on the #39, as i have a #8 and #8w. if its an "n" then you may need to set your right rear tire in a bit to get clearance for the inside shoe on the cutter bar so you won't be trying to cut the grass which was laid down by the tire as you mow. that can make for a huge mess if cutting hay other wise i wouldn't worry too much for just road side mowing or bank mowing. if its mint for 300 i'd grab it.
