Hi Guys
I have been looking at a few John Deere's which are possibilities for us to purchase but some of the prices seem to good to be true even when you go to view the tractors.
The first one is a John Deere 6800 in excellent condition. The person is asking ï½£3400 for it and it has got around 3500 hours. This is the ad John Deere 6800 Perfect Condition, Tractors For Sale in Somerset, South West :: Farming Ads
The second one i have been looking at is a 6910 again in very good condition. This person is asking ï½£5800 and this has got 6500 hours on it. This is the ad to that one John Deere 6910, 2002, 6500 Tractors For Sale in Avon, South West :: Farming Ads
The last one is a 6900 and they are asking ï½£5000 for it and it has got 6250 hours on it. The link to this is John Deere 6900 £5000, John Tractors For Sale in Hampshire, South East :: Farming Ads
I know that these are incredibly good prices but i don't know if people think that they could be a scam.
Thanks for your help
Ben

When prices are WAY below normal that's a RED Flag. They sound like scams to me.

They arent what i would call WAY below average prices because around here you can pick one up similar to these for around 1-2000 more.
Im still not sure if i want to risk it.
If you saw a JD 2040s 2WD for £3400 would that be approximately right sort of price?

What is the exchange to US dollars? I was guessing the prices were 25% or less then normal, not 1-2000 less.

think you multiply by about 1.56. the average price for these normally is around 8000 over here. i know you can get a lot for your money though - or in some cases lose a lot of money

The JD6800 would be 5,050 U.S. dollars. I cheated a little in my searching: New Coins
