Don't they know that they are sticking their ad up above in the wrong place?
I don't think any of us will turn green over 0$% APR for 36 months.
That there green paint costs too much, not to mention the yellow.
:p

not for me! I just can't compare the quality of the old green machines to the new ones. Especially for the price. Now my orange on the other hand :D *&#$ YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mentioned that before. I find it funny to see JD ads in the Kubota forums...not just the revolving ads at the top of the page above the forum code.

I would buy a JD in a minute if the price was comparable to my Kubota. I would buy a New Holland too if the price was right. Kubota had the best price in the kubota 7510 class by 2300 dollars over the JD and New Holland was even more.

Oh no, here we go again. Please JD owners, don't take the bait.

Ok... here is a good Kubota owner reply....

As much as they charge for their tractors they can afford to waste money advertising.

Just joking... don't get offended Deere guys!!

There is a JD dealer less than 5 miles from my home. The reason we're "orange" is the 3K price difference for a comparable machine. I believe that there is little or no difference in the quality, fit/finish of the 2 product lines.
I drove by the JD dealership an hour ago and there wasn't much inventory (compared to previous years) on the lot. Maybe the "green machine" is having a tough year with their CT line.

Nothing wrong with Deere, just some things I don't like on the one I'm familiar with, don't like the side by side hydro pedal, to easy to go the wrong way unless you look to see which one your foot is on, don't like the loader stick back by the seat, to curl the bucket up, the stick hits the seat, tried the left-right brake on the left for brake turning that is so absolutely necessary, all that did was leave a large skid mark in a circle with the rear tire . Just nit picking.

I agree, I like Kubota's hydro pedal better than Deeres. Also I like how Kubotas have less plastic than Deeres. And I like how Kubotas seem to have better design and finish than Deeres. And of course Kubota is known for having better reliability than Deere.

Don't know if I agree with any of the above, was at the Kubota dealer and checked out the new 2350, lots of plastic that didn't fit together too well, a real turn off, seems they have got two hydro pedals now, just front and rear, have to pick up your foot and move it up and back, instead of just rock back and forth, unless your shoe is about 18" long. I don't think Deere is having any kind of reliability problem either. Couldn't switch to Deere if I was trading, couldn't afford one, around here they think they're gold.:)

The real question is: Why in the world would you want to switch to Deere?

I'll take a Kubota over a Deere any day :)

Deere is a good machine. It has to be or they wouldn't be selling them. Guys like us are nuts when it comes to quality. If we have too many problems with something we make it clear or never buy the product again. a dealer by me sells Kubota and Deere. When I pretty much hounded the salesman about which is better he said John Deere is a Cadilac, Kubota is a Chevy. Deere has more stuff like e hydro, I think thats what they call it and it costs a little more. I don't need e hydro cause when I hear the engine working too hard I let up on the hst. If they want to pay for extras I don't care, and they advertise a lot more too. Around here Kubotas are about as common as Deere. It seems the more established 50 something home owners have Deere. I'm sure they have more income than I do. Workin folk that seem younger and blue collar Seem to get Kubota and even some Chinese tractors. They ned a tractor that works and don't care about status. And when my long lost uncle kicks the bucket and sends a chunk my way I might have a Deere to .

A much more accurate analogy would be Kubota is like Honda, and John Deere is like Chevy. I'd take a Honda any day.

Maybe you would take a Chevy any day. That's ok. Some points being missed in these silly forums. 1. Kubota is not all Japanese and JD is not all American and when it comes to compacts there is very little difference in % of how much is American made. 2. Without competion and unbiased consumers JD would be total pieces of junk. Don't go haywire now cause I am going to make my point. Some of us older guys still remember the 1975 to 1985 Chevy's and and American made cars. People bought them cause we all heard " I ain't buyin no piece of Jap crap" The truth was American cars were crap because of loyalty. They were so bad that a 78-80 Olds Cutlass couldn't even keep the back bumpers from falling off. We had to bolt on 2x12's for a bumper. Fenders would fall off the car right on the highway and you could drive down the road and see them in the ditch. Engines were junk in 60-70k miles and noone bothered with a rebuild cause the body was already a rust bucket They were junk until the "Japs" came along and gave them a run for their money, and still are giving them a run for their money. Cars are very high quality now because of competition. Without competition John Deere would be junk too. I don't know why people don't understand this.

I don't know why, but for some reason it seems that Japan always makes the highest quality vehicles and electronics.

Best cars available? Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Nissan/Infiniti

Best TVs available? Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Hitachi

If anything, it would be more accurate to say "Japanese corporations" or "Japanese engineers", because less and less products every day of those brands are actually still made/assembled in Japan. Try China, Korea, and other emerging economies. Japan is not much different from us when it comes to outsourcing cheaper labor.

My JD 2210 is a Yanmar, I bought that over a BX 23. No-bleed refuel and 200 pound more than the Kubota FEL sold me. My JD is made in Japan too.
