Price Check John Deere X720

I Think I am going to pull the trigger and buy a used JD x720 to maintain my 2.5 acres. My local JD dealer has a used one for sale for 5,900, I have looked allover the net and cant find one much cheaper anywhere so I am assuming this is a god buy. Do you experts have any thoughts about this tractor and the asking price? I will get the year and hours this morning and post it up. Thanks

Ok Its a 2007 x720 with 1669 hours for $5,900. Is this a good deal? Any opnions are appricated.

Price seems high to me with that many hours. What deck does it have and a bagger or anything else?

54" deck no extras but tractor has been maintained by dealer its whole life and looks better than new.

seems a bit high based on tractorhouse comparables. But without seeing it in person and knowing the local market, it's hard to say.

Do you like it, and are you willing to spend that amount on that tractor? if so then it's the perfect price for you!

Well I got them down to 6500 out the door and that including 6.75% tax and new 3 point hitch installed. The 3 point hitch is $600 alone, so they brought the tractor down to about 5,500. I still walked out of the dealer though because I still want to think about it another day. It sure does drive like a Cadillac compared to my current craftsman. I just wish it had less than 100 hours, if that was the case it would be in my driveway already.

Very good price. I paid $7500 for my HST 4100 w/1100 hours last year. It came with a 60" deck and a 47" snowblower.

You can search all of Craigslist using searchtempest.com. You'll need to configure the site a bit but it'll let you search the entire USA to see what the asking price is for a Deere 4100.
