A MAJOR loss for country music. JC had over 500 albums and 50 crossover hits to the pop charts. Certainly one of the all time greats. I dont know if I have a favorite as there is just so dog gone many good ones. Dave
Time caught up to him. Man, that last song to make the crossovers "Hurt" I think? Brought his name to yet another generation. Incredible. Sad. What an artist. What a loss.
Yup, big fan. Always loved his voice even though I'm not so much into the traditional country songs. He sings with Trick Pony on their first album. Opens with "Hello, We're Trick Pony" instead of his classic line.
He had a pretty tough life but sure did leave a legacy behind /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
