I broke off the joystick inside a Nimco 10833-2S control valve on the ML230 FEL on my 2006 Mahindra 3525. Well as luck would have it, parts are no longer available for the Nimco valve.

I had read a post HERE that suggested getting a Bailey Hydraulics. #220-957 joystick valve, which is what I bought.

I figured out where to connect the boom up/down (A2 & B2) and the bucket tip/rollback (A1 & B1) on the Bailey valve but I would be guessing where the Input from the Hydraulic pump and Return to tank locations are or where to connect the hose going to what I call the Isolater.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best guess.

You could use air to check flow path.

Your side inlet port is labeled.

An optional top inlet port.

You have a side out port which is labeled.

Optional top out port.

14 is probable a PB port and needs an adapter.

Did you also get the PB adapter?

When I explained the situation to the guy with Bailey, he said I needed an adapter but not really sure if it's a PB adapter. I'll see if I can find the sales slip.

Thanks for the response.

I checked the sales slip and it says it's a "Power Beyond Plug". Is PB short for power beyond?

If your tractor has open center hyd, you will need the PB adapter to feed the next valve.

I'll check it out tomorrow, if I can find the other hydraulic fittings I need to replace due to some rust.

Thanks again for the response and I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Well by golly that was sure interesting.

When I changed the Nimco control valve to the Bailey 220957 I needed to change a few things.

Had to change the A1, A2, B1, B2 which was #8 pipe thread / #8 flange to a #10 pipe / #8 flange.

Found out I should have asked more questions about the P, T & N positions. P being pressure and T being tank and N being power beyond. I connected them backwards to begin with and popped an o-ring out of it's slot but since it did not split I just had to get it back in the slot. And yes I did wear some of the hydraulic fluid that escaped around the o-ring.

Live and learn and I won't make that mistake again ...... I hope.

Thanks for the help along the way.
