Joystick vs. pedal controls for aux attachments..?

A 743 wouldn't have the switches on the steering handles. Front auxiliary on 743 was manual control, move the right hand lever side to side for hydraulics out to attachment. Had no multiple function without special wiring.

John, wasn't that long ago I was trying to figure it out. On a skid loader there are basically three controls, steering, bucket and auxiliary hydraulics. With variations on each. Steering is pretty straight forward with little variation from manufacturer to manufacturer. It steers like a bull dozer right side lever forward, strokes up right side pump spins right side motor, same for left. Bucket controls are either foot or hand. One side controls up down and the other lilts the bucket. On foot controls you push/tilt it forward or aft-ward, on hand the controls bucket is built into the steer control arms. The upper portion tips in or out controlling the bucket. Auxiliary hydraulics, they have a separate auxiliary hydraulic pump going to its own control valve, that control valve gets you flow out to the front couple-rs forward reverse, high and low flow. These are they buttons you are looking at on the steering levers.

Steering operation hasn't changed that i am a wear. Where most of the variations are, are on the bucket and aux controls. And all they did there was remove the mechanical, add electric over hydraulic. I'm not a fan of the electric over hydraulic controls. Pilot operated hand controls would be cool. Bob cat has an option where you can choose foot or hand control.
