Know anymore about it? Year, model, etc....? Pics? I have a friend that collects them. I had an uncle that was president of the local Corvair club before he passed away.

I was posting in humor. I have no idea of it's year or model or anything. It's in the woods about 75 yards off the blacktop. You can only see it during the winter when the foliage and leaves are gone.

Hint on it's condition: Chainsaw = tree growing through the middle of it.

Not to worry. I was at an air show a few years back and they had a WWII Japanese Zero there that had just been made airworthy. I talked to the pilot about the story behind it, and he said they found it in the Solomon Islands with a palm tree growing up through the middle of it.

Moss, forgot to add: Having said all that: I'll see if I can take a decent pic of it next time I'm down that road. Heck, maybe I can get a commission for getting it sold!

Advertise it as an organic Corvair....

Don't bother a special trip if its rotted out. But if the body is still solid, it's worth a look.

It's worth a look if the trim is intact. Something so simple as mirrors, door handles, exterior ornaments/chrome. All are valuable to a collector/restorer. Friend of mine restores cars. He has some stuff parked in his front yard right now that I wouldn't have dragged home free. He's after specific pieces.
