CHECK YOUR HOSES.....Just went out to do a oil change on my TC33DA. Took a look at the two radiaor hoses and they LOOKED /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif fairly good. Then I touched and moved one of the hoses around - There was a split a mile deep and three miles long /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif - IT was almost ready to go. Looked at the other hose, not as bad, but getting there. Less than 250 hrs on the tractor.
You have been warned..... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Does your 33da set outside? I have a 33da with 20 hours and I'll add this to my list to at 150 hours or so . Thanks

Ahh the old hydraulic hoses again. Yes New Holland has a poor hose and I think most have put it on their list to change every 2 years automatically. Even some do it once a year. I also think New Holland has come up with a new kit for that. I have not changed my yet this year but last year or the year before mine went too while mowing and I lost a lot of fluid.

murph,
He said "radiator" hose. Wonder if he meant to say the hydraulic hoses in FRONT of the radiator like you are thinking?

Yeah, he did, I guess I spoke too soon if he meant radiator. I have not heard of any problems with the radiator hoses. Mike would you clearify this for us.

Let see, the lines come along the side of the engine and connect to this thing that has fins, air blows thru it to cool the hydraulic fluid - looks like a radiator to me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Main thing to bring to everyones attention - at first LOOK, the two hoses looked great. It was only when I did a closer check that the deep cuts were found. It does set outside in a covered area, but I don't think that would cause the problem.
I'm having the dealer check into the fix kit, thank you - TBN comes throught again... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Might as well check those belts too.

When i sent in my 7610s for hyd repair work i noticed the fan belt was on it's last leg... Would hate to be mwing and have that sucker go!

Yes Mike,
That would be the nasty NH hydraulic hose imperfection lots of members have experienced.

I guess most folks would refer to that as the oil cooler, and would consider the engine coolant thing to be the 'radiator', tho of course both are heat exchangers & can, of course, be called radiators. Might even be the same contraption all hooked together, but still 2 seperate parts - one a radiator for cooling the engine, & the other an oil cooler for cooling the oil.

Just more confusing your way. I'd check the coolant hoses from your explination and not get to the problem you are trying to warn us about......
