Get this, my wife, brings me the October Issue of Compact Equipment with the page open to a New Holland TC40D with a front mounted snow blower!! (Tim Allen argh argh). She tells me she thinks I should have one of them blowers for my tractor?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif She didn't ask for any jewelry, shoes or nothing.

About alls I could say to her was, yes they are nice but we don't have the money for one right now dear. She left with a "oh" and a sad look on her face. So now I can spend the next few days drooling over that front mounted snow blower.

The problem there is that bank account you have to burn the money before it hits the bottom or it's gone. Next month if I mention the snow blower, she will say, "what snow blower?'

We got notice from a NJ partnership we were in that they were liquidating it and that we'd be getting our money plus interest back. My wife said that I could use this to get my tractor sooner.

Awaiting the 410 loader and toothbar for my JD 4010 with LX4 cutter that I ordered with money I'd saved plus the partnership redemption. Loader & toothbar didn't come in this week. Should be delivered next week.

Looked at BX 1830 and B7510 in Kubota line and JD 2210 and 4010. Didn't like the ergonomics on the Kubotas, and the B7510 was the same price as the JD 4010. Don't need the hp in the 2210. Prefer the full Cat. 1 3ph and dual brakes and cruise control on the 4010.

I think you did the right thing. I think you will like the Cat 1 over the sub's. I believe you will be able to do your tasks much more efficient. Congrates on your new rig. Must have pictures though when you get it.

From where I'm sitting you've just got yourself a green light to buy that snow blower ANYTIME you get a chance. Check on dealer financing it, talk'em down. The key here is to never talk about it again to your wife, so you don't get that, "What snowblower" comment. Just keep the magazine, write down her exact quote, sign it, date it, have it notarized and your all set!!
