Just back from ordering my new log splitter.

Went to Lowes and ordered a 28 ton Dirty Hands log splitter. Price tag was $1547.77. Got 10% ($154.78) Veterans discount and after taxes ($83.58) came to $1476.57. I hope to pick it up on the 10th. Very excited to get my hands on this thing. Not sure if it comes assembled or not. Doesn't matter to me. I would probable prefer to put it together myself. I did learn one interesting thing. If I ordered it on-line I wouldn't have been able to get the Veterans discount. Doesn't offer it anywhere. Just some info for all the Veterans out there who might be thinking about getting something from Lowes. You get 10% off.

When we were building our house we bought a lot of Lowes 10% discount coupons on fleabay. They can usually be had for a few dollars or less.
