First of all thanks to everyone on this site. You sent me in the right direction on which tractor to really get. I looked at a few and was really torn between 2520 and 3320. I didn't think I needed that much tractor, but I used a friend of mines 4210 and loved it.What I did find after putting the 2520 to the test is it has all the power you need but the loader is a little less of a loader then the 410 that was on my friends. I am going to mow about 80% of the time with it so I will deal with it. I plan on getting a 3 piont mower with it as I have found is my best bet. I paid 15,545 plus tax for the tractor and loader, I think I did alright as it is 13.4% off of cost. I know some of you have gotten up to fifthteen % but i liked my dealer so i let him have the extra 150 dollars. Did I do ALRIGHT ON PRICE? Thank you again for all your input once again.

Congrats of the purchase - the 2520 is solid, but as solid as it is it shouldnt be compared to the performance of a much larger machine and loader (4210 & 420 loader). Thats more in the 3000 series arena.

Out of curiousity who sent you in the right direction? doe anybody stand out as the voice of reason more than others? <my bet would be Chris2520> just curious :)

Welcome and congratulations! You're gonna be happy with the 2520 it is more than capable, and it sounds like you got a deal you can be happy with. If you like what the front end (fel) of the 2520 can do, just wait til you turn her around....but, we'll leave that for another...he..he..he!

If I had to say everyone and everbodys questions on all topics here on this site helped me with my choice of what brand and what model. I really paid attention on what other peolpe were paying and also likes and dislikes. I still am not overly impressed with the 200cx but I know it is quite smaller then what I was use to. Also like you guys said the seat is not that comfortable going over rough ground. I will let you know more details as I clear 1 acre of over grown saplings and bushes. I still have to say plenty of power and alot more still to try. I am definetly glad I didn't go any smaller. One other questions for you guys, do you find it better to dig with a 49 ,53 or 61 inch bucket. It came with a 53 I paid for a 61 and am using a 49 right now until they get my 61 inch in. It seems that a 49 would be better for digging. Also I for got to tell you guys I did get the r4s and 61 inch bucket with that price. Thanks again.

49" is way too small, the 61" is the suggested size on the 2520

For digging, it doesn't matter what bucket you have, you NEED a toothbar:D

Search the word "toothbar" and you will see what I mean...

Providing your loader is workly normally, lifting 1,000 lbs objects to full height should not be an issue - both the log and concrete were 1,000 lbs plus and had to be lifted to max height to get in the dump truck. Besides having a 61" bucket with a full heaping of crushed concrete is over 1,000 lbs, wet dirt is close as well - doing it for 8 to 10 hour stretches without issue, or straining in my opinion is a good thing, and perfect performance for this sized machine. It wont move pallets mind you ( I will get the machine that will do that later- I rent when that needs to be done)

I have the 61 inch bucket that came with the 2520, and a 49 inch bucket that I built. The 49 has welded on digging teeth, so it is the bucket of choice if I am digging. Smaller surface area gives higher psi, for more effective penetration. It still isnt a backhoe, but it is possible to dig into flat dry ground more effectively with the smaller bucket and teeth. I am looking forward to using the 61 in snow. It depends on what you are doing. If you can afford only one, I'd choose the 54 inch width, as a compromise. And a removeable tooth bar would then be a natural addition.
