just bought a 4530

16x16...16 discs,16 inches tall..I would try that 7 foot hog out.I have been wanting to find one to try on my machine to see what it would do.They say figure 5 horse of pto power per foot on the brushhog. the 4530 is rated at 35 hp max,so 7 footer would be your max size..

An 8' dual spindle usually runs just as easy as a 7' single spindle unit.

What do y'all mean dual spindle? Are you talking about a cutter with two gear boxes? Oh and another question, how wide is that 16x16 disc?

By dual spindle, I mean 2 gear boxes with blade carriers on them.
