After the typical months of comparisons, I concluded that there was no comparison for any new, any used, or any other model. Partly because of the limits of what's available locally, I just bought a b7800 from Pro Rental and Sales in Idaho Falls.
Not a screaming deal perhaps, but not terrible either - $17,250 out the door for tractor with folding rops, mm pto, FEL, industrial tires, and a Kubota 50" reverse circulation tiller. Nice people to haggle with and very straight. Free delivery (80 miles distant) and free 50 hour service thrown in.
Please, even if you think/know it, don't tell me if I got burned! I'm happy the process is over and I can get on with using the machine. Thanks to all who posted the various info all over this site - it definitely helped to inform me.
