Just bought a new 5065E

I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought a new 5065E with a loader over the weekend. I have been pondering on it for several months now. I don't think the special offer would get much better. 0% interest for 60 months with 3k down and a $200 charge for paperwork. And an additional $1.5k off if you bought two implements. So I got a bale spear to go with it. Dealer didn't have one in stock and he hasn't given me a final date yet, but he expected it to arrive around the 20th of April. It's my first new tractor and I can't wait.

Welcome! $1.5K off for two implements, so the loader must have counted as one, then the bale spear must have got you money back Since I do not do hay, I would have gotten pallet forks.

Yes, the loader counts as one implement. The way it ended up I basically got the bale spear for "nothing". And I knew there was a listing on Craigslist for a set of pallet forks for $900 in Northern Indiana I might go look at.

I know this is an older thread but I am working with my dealer now on basically the same deal. 5065E, 553 loader, front hay spear, and a rear hay spear. He tells me the implement must cost at least $750 though so I guess we will see.
