As JDGreen227 says, you will only get a bill of sale, no title. Tractors are not registered with your state motorvehicle dept., which is where titles originate.
Couple of suggestions, get a separate bill of sale for each piece of equipment (attachement) that comes with the tractor, or have each piece and the serial number for it, listed on the bill of sale. That includes the loader and any other attatchments. If from a private party, request a copy of their drivers license, proof of identity, along with the bill of sale. also, request copies of their original bill of sale from when/where they purchased the equipment. This is cheap insurance incase any issues come to light down the road.
Since this tractor is fairly new and low hours, it should still have some remaining warranty from JD. When I bought my used 4310 last year, I had the owner meet me at the JD dealership to transfer ownership, he had to pay off a balance with JD Credit, and they transferred the warranty into my name. You have to be a little careful with private party purchases, you don't want to pay for the tractor and months later find out that some shop has a mechanics lein on it, or that the loan was never payed off.
If your buying from a dealership, all of these issues are probably mute.
Good luck, you'll really like the new/used 4310.
