Hi All,
Been lurking on here for a while before taking the plunge and buying my first tractor.
I have been looking for a while as tractors in the UK seem to be increasing in value at an alarming rate. An awful lot of what has been in my price range has been rust held together by holes. Farmers here don't seem to care what the tractor looks like as long as it runs and they fix them with whatever is lying around.
I have a 20 acre small holding in South Wales that needs some TLC and stock proof fencing so a small tractor is all I need. I disregarded the Chinese tractors on advice about parts availability locally.
So I ended up with a 1984 MF250 with Sankey Cab and MF875 loader which cost me just over 」6k. It has some rust spots but nothing too major and needs a little bit of mechanical work - questions for which I have posted in other threads.
That's me,
Cheers,
Richard.
