I just picked up a B8200 with a loader for $4500. Found it on Craigs list. The LADY owner used it to clean out horse stalls. Luckily, it rained on the way home and I got a free powerwash. It has 909 hours showing, but I wonder if that could be 1909? It runs well and everything seems to work, except one headlight. Where is the best place to get an owners manual, I don't know what half of the controls are for. It has hydrostatic and four wheel drive, so I guess some of the controls are for these. Where is the best place to get used attachments, specifically a post-hole digger and mower deck. I'm thinking a rear deck for the 3 point hitch might be the best and am wondering if the tractor has enough horsepower for a 72" deck. Thanks for your help.

Ebay or craigs list might have the manuals if you can wait or the dealer. Good Luck, they are a bull and even if the tach has been around for times, it can handle that and more!!!!

Congratulations on your newly acquired tractor. I just bought an owners manual for my John Deere from the dealer, you might want to get a shop manual as well.

Yes, all the controls can be confusing, but you will learn quickly.

As to implements agree with other poster as well as classifieds and local papers.

You might want to stay at five feet for rfm. Since it's hydro you are able to slow in thick stuff but 14.5 pto horsepower is light for 6 feet Sounds like a good price.

Thanks. I've never owned a 3 point hitch with a hydraulic quick-connect on a tractor. When I shop for a 60" deck for the 3 point, am I looking for one with a hydraulic motor, or does it run off of the PTO gear I see sticking out of the back of the tractor? Second question, I could use a post hole digger. Again, hydraulic or PTO? I will need to go 4 foot deep for the posts, how wide of an auger should I shoot for? (whoops, that was three questions.
God bless

1. rear finish mower uses pto shaft for power.
2. if you need to go 4 feet deep I would recommend hydraulic mounted to front end load-more expensive but 4 feet is a lot of depth for 3 point hitch mounted post hole digger-take a look at northern tool for ideas on post hole augers.
3. depends on size of post and how you are putting them in - adding concrete etc
four feet is deep (did I say that already?)

I used to have a Toro Groundskeeper with a diesel and a 72" deck, and it used a drive shaft off of the PTO in the front. This looks like the same set-up except the 3-point hitch will do the lifting, and the PTO gear will drive the blades. 'Woods' is the name I'm familiar with, but will any mower designed for a 3 point hitch work? I think I'll just rent the post hole digger on an as-needed basis. Thanks again.

Yes as long as your three point hitch is a standard cat one. (you see some that are limited cat one or cat zero. Don't know all the numbers off hand but 26 in arm spacing, 23 inch arm length and 7/8 th pin size for arms and 3/4 inch top link pins.)
FWIW I recently sold a 3 point post hole auger (don't use it). I had purchased an Earthquake one person auger from Lowes and found it easier to use.
