Quick Hitches just don't understand

Very true...except for a rotary cutter. That one still requires grunt work and foul language.

again.. with practice.. it's easy.

I don't grunt any to hookup a 10' 3pt mower.. I just backup to the right location, lower the 3pt arms to rest on the pins, get off, slip the arms over the pins, then atach the toplink and go.

Might be a minute if I'moving slow.. usually faster.

had to learn how to backup and line up right.. too hard to grunt to move a 3000# mower.. or roll a 7000# tractor by hand.. :)

Well, you have certainly made me do some thinking. Are you saying you can do this even without the extendable links, just by being careful backing up all the time? And I hadn't thought about dropping them on the pins. But what about uneven ground? Its just always been such a struggle for me, but I admit I dont do it that often, and with the carters, it has really simplified it for me. If I had the extendable links and the telescoping stabilizers I would not have bought anything.

I't's a bit more than just backing up straight. It's good drop off an pickup habits.

for instance. it's easier to drop the mower on flat ground.. or on flat cribbing than trying to hookup on uneven ground.

once you do that.. then learn to backup straight, and then learn how far back you need to go in relation to the mower. telescoping links do help.. but I don't use them anymore. my 5000 has them.., but not the 7610s..so I try to get in the habit of just parking correctly instead or relying on the links..
