Just got a #7 backhoe and need some advice

Question: Is there supposed to be oil put back in the cup where the bottom O-ring is with the spring? It seems like no oil is going in there so it could rust if I don't put something back in there.

Looking at this thread: 188932-valve-control-unit-la681-front Kennyd suggest to grease everything in the cup or to even drill a small hole to let moisture out. I will go with the ball bearing grease. Only one cup seemed to have a mix of oil and water but no corrosion so grease should be enough. Everyone probably knows this but as I said before, it is my first time doing this and never saw anyone play in a valve like this before. This forum is great!
