I am wondering about the same thing. I have a plow taken off of an old Jeep that I would like to mount on my tractor. I was hoping to use the hydraulic lines off of the joystick for my loader. The cylinders that angle the blade on the plow have only one port each. I assume that when you want to move the blade pressure is applied to one cylinder while the other is not pressurized, forcing the fluid out of the unused cylinder. I was thinking that I might be able to go with only one cylinder with two inlets so that I could have pressure in both directions enabling me to angle the blade back and forth with the one cylinder. I am only going to be plowing snow with the setup. Raising and lowering the blade, same problem, only one port on the cylinder which I assume means that gravity lowers the blade which won't work with the tractor hydraulics I have. Thinking that I could just swap out the plow cylinder for another two way cylinder. I would have power both up and down but that wouldn't matter. I haven't looked for new cylinders to try this as I don't really know if it will work. Might be expensive for the cylinders. Anybody have any input?

You really only have a few options: You can run a series of electric solenoid diverters with switches mounted on the tractor (the same way way many skid steers are setup) or you could run lines all the way forward from your rear remotes, providing you have some. You could also plumb in a new valve and run dedicated lines I suppose, but that would be $$. Easiest and cheapest way to do it is long lines from rear remotes, anything else could be quite spendy...you might want to either PM Wayne County Hose or repost this in the hydraulics forum as there are several TBN members who are hydraulic experts (I'm not one of them:) )...

are you mounting this to a loader or just to the tractor . if just to the tractor all you have to do is run the three hoses from the plow to your loader valve.

All you have to do it plumb the angel cylinders to the rear remote and let the FEL do the lifting. This way you can pile snow as high as the loader will reach.
