Just got my LK3054

Well actually I got it last week. This thing is awesome! I ripped out two large sassafras stands with it (6'x4' root ball plus 5-6 stumps all together) I was very impressed. I had a bit of a learning curve to overcome because I had never run an fel before, so the first stand I actually dug way to deep to get the root ball out. The second was a little better. Then I moved the hedges from the South side of my yard to the North. That was awesome! I have gotten really good at determining how deep to go to grab the roots. Today I pulled out 5 cedar trees that were growing in the old grape vineyard behind my barn, took less then 10 minutes, and these were good sized trees (between 10 - 20 years old).
The only problem I have encountered was with my Bush Hog SQ-480 I snapped a shear pin, and they are out of stock at the parts store, oh well.
Differential lock on this tractor is great and has saved my butt a couple of times as has the 4wd. It pulls like a beast (pushes good too!) and it fits in my dinky garage with the fel on it. I clear the door header by 1/4" tight fit but at least it fits. I could go on and on, Oh I also drove out into my blueberry field and it fits perfectly down the rows, and I was able to pull some trees out there too, and that's in >6" of mud. I was a little concerned when I went into that section of he field (I got my truck stuck out there last year when it was dry) The tractor had no problems at all, heck when I washed it off later that day there wasn't even any mud in the fender wells (No spinning tires!!) I must say the 1231 loader is one mean looking machine.
It makes the 1450 even a 1470 look like a toy.

Yup, it's a heck of a machine, I am absolutely delighted with mine too! I am also curious as to which FEL you have? I have the Rhino 2408, which is similar to the Kioti 1230. Have fun & don't forget the pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a LK3054 too. You dug out those stumps with the loader? So far mine has performed very well. I have a Bueler Allied loader which seems strong. Built a toothbar which helped significantly. Handles a 6' Midwest box blade with no problems. Hopefully this Saturday I can go out to the land and give it another good workout making our driveway.

I have done the engine oil and the hydraulic/transmission oil changes. It is made extremely well. Kind of wish it had the Kioti loader on it that way I could get a Kioti backhoe and just bolt on. Whats amazing is how long the thing runs on a few gallons of fuel.

Congratulations on your new 3054. By purchasing such a fine tractor you are obviously a person of extremely high intellect. Not that I am biased or anything. Only have about 15 hours on mine and I am amazed by what it can do. Keep looking for holes to dig and dirt to spread. I am going to sell on of my ATV's now that I have the XS. Be sure to send pictures when available.

Congratulations tkwoof! You bought one heck of a little tractor. Hard to imagine that you dug all that stuff out with the FEL. Maybe you should submit a testimonial to Kioti's website?

Ok I just took a bunch of pictures, I will have to get my wife to post them somewhere so I can link to them here.

Oh and the stumps were dug with the loader and then pulled out with a 5/16" tow chain. The loader did pull them up on two sides, then I just hooked to them and pulled them right out. The cedar trees were all loader. I have the 1230 FEL it does a darn good job. I would like a little more lifting capacity, but then I would need balast or the tractor would tip.

just ordered a lk3054xs 1231 loader today. didn't know if i wanted the dk20 or lk3054xs but when i saw the 1231 loader(which was told came with brush guard /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) my mind was set. will see next week.
