i have a retiring old mf40b skiploader that has the top and tilt that i installed, the new toy has the to slots on the right of the seat. does any one know how much those two cost? I would like three but want to keep it stock looking. unless the cost is like triple then i might go with gearmore or ???

First Congratulations on the new tractor. The 1547 is a fantastic tractor. Did you get the open station or cab model?
The most that you can stack in the slots are two. You can add two more the way I understand it. I am at a little bit of a lose on the 1500, because I don't have a lot of paper work on them. I do know that one of the changes from the 1400 series to the 1500 series was the ability to add more factory valves. I haven't seen the price for the valves on the 1547, but on the 1440, two valves were in the $1000 range. If you want to go after market for your set-up I would suggest that you go with Carter & Carter. Mark Carter is a member here and has a great set up that many members have installed. BTW, Marks system is a lot less expensive than Gearmores.

Just a suggestion, even though you said you wanted to "keep it stock looking".
I had the dual remotes installed when I bought the 1455v new, and they suggested using a joystick to control them instead of the standard levers in the slots. May have been a price thing, I don't know. The joystick was mounted just behind the seat on the right side of the tractor, on the metal plate above the fuel tank and it's been perfect for me. Any time that I need to make an adjustment using the remotes I need to turn to the back to look anyway, so the joystick isn't hard to find or awkward. The best thing is that it's within easy reach to make adjustments from the ground behind the tractor when attaching implements. If I had the levers in the slots I'd have to walk around the rear wheel to reach the controls, and wouldn't be able to make adjustments as well. I don't remember about the 1500 series, as you might have some sort of hyd controls available from the back of the tractor? What seems to help me most is inching the tilt cylinder so things match up without needing a prybar or hammer.
