small acreage where we breed horses and daughters and operate a drop bear sanctuary.
all flat and recently bought a kubota bx2370 with 4 in 1 bucket.
currently teaching myself to weld so i can make a trench cleaner to fit in the bucket and save my poor old back.
so far so good and retired the 'widow maker' grey fergie but can see that we will be asking questions in the future.
located in west gippsland, gods own country.

Ahhh........ thank you. I just couldn't remember any discussion of black, brown, grizzly or polar bears anywhere east of Melbourne.

Drop Bears:

Fillies, 2 x 2 legged variety, 6 x 4 legged.
The BX was used in the construction of the round yard shifting in sand and levelling the arena which still isn't finished due to the rain making it a bit boggy.
When I first looked at the BX2370 I thought it was a bit of a toy as I had looked at some Chinese tractors that looked like conventional units, the dealer brought one out to the property for me to have a play with and I was sold, something so small has so much muscle (forwhat we need) and scooping up a bucket of damp builders sand did not pose a challenge even though I am sure it exceeds the rated weight on the unit.
It won't lift a round bale but I can certainly roll it around and 'steer' it to were I want it, usually with half a dozen TB's following.
Anyway, thanks for the welcome and hope to be able to contribute in the future, especially with my trench cleaner if it works.

or polar bears anywhere east of Melbourne.
I was in the Air Force (RAAF) in the late 60's and spent time in Antarctica experimenting with GPS, the scientists we were bunked in with told us to watch out for polar bears when we went out on our little expeditions, now, I know they do not exist in Antarctica but we still spent a bit of time looking over our shoulders for a few days.
That is where my user name originated with a few variants but generally known as Bunny (don't picture a showgirl, I'm 6'4" 140kg and a big beard, not a pretty sight).
