Just Purchased a B2100, Need Some Help And Ideas

Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased a B2100 from a repo auction. It has 1049 metered hours on it, and looks in great shape. I currently have TWO JD 400 tractors, but the Kubota was just calling my name. The only thing is, this is my first diesel tractor and I'm wondering if any of you "seasoned Pro's" have any tips as for the difference in diesel to gas. It has the 3 cyl diesel @ 21hp. I don't plan on running the tractor a whole lot in the winter so the engine block heater is still questionable.

Also the tractor came with NOTHING, it was just the tractor in the repo auction. I've been doing a bit of research on attachments and notice that the tractor has a LOT of attachment options. Everything from a backhoe to a sweeper to a tiller and a snowblower. However I'm wondering if anyone has some kind of reference list for what fits this tractor? I mean, like loader model #'s and belly mowers that will fit thing? Is there a website out there that has this type of listing that I haven't run accross on google search yet?

I get to pick up the tractor tuesday so I'll have S/N on it then. I do know that the tractor was built somewhere between 1995 and 1999. I'll see if I can post some pic's of it and see what you guys think.

Nice looking tractor.
According to Kubota.
It is a 19 hp tractor. From looks of front tires it was run in 4WD a lot. I wore out the front tires on my tractor in the first 300 hours.

Thanks Ron, yeah it was a repo so I'm guessing it was a Rental tractor, maybe. With that kind of hours on it and the lack of accessories. I did manage to find some information about it from the local Kubota dealer as far as accessories for this thing. So any of you other B2100 people who are in the same boat as me this might help a little.

I called the Kubota dealer and asked about a front end loader (FEL) and Mid Mounted Belly Mower (MMM). The FEL is a Model LA302 or LA301 (no difference in loader the guy says, just a different sticker he says LOL!) The Mower Deck is a RCK60-24B for the 60 inch mower deck. The prices are a little high, but concidering what I got the tractor for, I guess paying a lil for the impliments isn't that bad. The loader for the LA302 I got quoted for 3000.00 and the mower deck I got quoted at 2300.00 both of those are NEW and a 2 week delivery time frame. Was hoping to find them a lil cheaper, but I do know I don't want to go 3rd party (meaning Woods or those other ebay clones out there.)

The tractor is just a play toy mostly, going to use the loader to move some dirt and rock and hopefully push over some bushes. The Mower is the main thing I'm looking for and the 3pt accessories should be great. Definately going to get some disc's for it to make some food plots (for deer hunting). And who knows, maybe even a backhoe to make that drainage field I always wanted
