LX2610SU
I just bought an LX2610SU. The dealer had to order some things as I wanted the Swift-Tach loader and they only had a standard LA535. Is the Swift-Tach loader the same as the regular and it just has additional items, or is it completely different? They had to order the larger R14 tires as they didn't have them in stock. I have been wanting a tractor for a long time and couldn't wait anymore. Now, I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery and am curious about the differences, if any, between the standard and the Swift-Tach.

I also asked about the mechanical self-leveling arms. He said they could be added later, so I opted to not get them now. Is there a hydraulic bleed-off for when the leveling arms are keeping the bucket level? I wouldn't think the kit would only include the arms.

Self leveling is mechanical only. Nothing hydraulic.

Think twice. Mechanical self levelinig affects lift height, dump angle and adds weight, thereby decreasing payload.

Not sure if such can be cost effectively added later.

Might want to view the oversized R14T tires before buying. All three tractors that I have seen with such exhibit pronounced ballooning, not exhibited by oversized R4s. Do not fail to consider that the oversized tires require steering stops, which increasing turning radius and affect maneuverability and also preclude the use of any tire chains.

I just mostly wanted to know if there are mechanical differences between the standard FEL and the Swift-Tach FEL. Is the standard FEL upgraded to Swift-Tach at the dealer, or is it a completely different loader?

I did not get the self-leveling kit, mostly for the potential problems with dirt work. I only considered them for forks. I did look at all of the pros and cons on the tires. There is a wait on the tires. I may call tomorrow to inquire about getting the smaller R14s instead, but I have seen them in person and did not notice a significant ballooning problem.

I have the LA535 loader standard version. It has the brackets for the Swift-Tach. Looks like might be compatable and the kit bolts on. It could be the frame mounts to the tractor are different. Dealer will know for sure.

The loader comes off very easily. Swift Tach is not needed for the pins. Arms easily set manually. SwiftTach might save a minute or two. The single quick hydraulic coupler is more of a time saver.

I usually leave the loader on and detach the bucket.

I don't usually like to contradict but there IS a hydraulic bleed-off with the kit (you can see in the vid) it can easily be added at any time and the performance loss is negligible.
My delivery is scheduled for Wednesday, i'll take some detailed pics when it arrives.

Outstanding. Thank you for the picture. My main reason for the Swift-Tach is the single coupler. I was just curious about the paw arm holders and they are there on the standard loader, so that answers my question.

And thanks for the bleed-off info. I thought there may have been something, as the arms are forcing the loader to do something that the hydraulic cylinders don't want them to do.

Mechanical self leveling and swift - Tach are seperate and distinct. Mechanical self leveling is just that, mechanical.

Moreover, the much more useful single lever hydraulic coupling if also distinct and available with or without self leveling. Also available with or without swift - Tach.

That said, the installed price of the single lever hydraulic manifold will exceed $800 (may well exceed $900, depending upon shop rate).

The loader is so easy to remove I was only interested in adding the single lever hydraulic coupler. The cost vs a small inconvenience wasn't worth it

No one is confusing MSL with Swift- Tach. But I may not understand your definition of "Mechanical" Is this not a "hydraulic Bleed off" for the cylinders? Tested | B1671 Self-leveling loader kit | Performance Impact? - YouTube

I agree, the single lever manifold is the most usefull of the 3.
