Just sold my trusty 1996 JD870

I just sole the old 870, and the wife is NOT happy to see it go. She loved that old tractor.

It built our entire property over the last 14 years. I'm going to hate to see it go also.

Like a trusty old friend. Always did what i asked of it.

I only got a new tractor because i needed more horsepower to run a loader mounted blower, and wanted a cab.

Kind of sad really.

Yup. I know that's how I will feel if I ever get rid of my '92 JD770. Kinda like having to put down a good dog at the age of 13.

All good things gotta come to an end.

ok, you asked for it...here are some pics of the tractor and the cab. Man, the cab sure spoiled me fast.

oh, by the way, i cut off the middle hook and added some 3/8 steel top side and bottom side, added a 2-5/16" ball and relocated the hooks as per other peoples ideas here on TBN.
